Overview

Aloe versicolor Guillaumin is an accepted species native to southeastern Madagascar. It is a succulent perennial or chamaephyte associated with desert or dry shrubland biome. [1]

The epithet versicolor perhaps refers to the flower colour, from Latin versicolor (‘variously coloured’). [2]
