概要

Aloe vaotsanda はMadagascarに自生する受容種で、多肉性の低木または樹木です。 [1]

幹は最大4 mに達し、枯葉が残存します。 [2]

葉は披針形で先細り、強く反曲し、長さは最大100 cmです。葉先は下向きで幹にほぼ接します。 [2, 3]

花序は約50 cmで多数分枝し、総状花序からなる円錐花序を形成します。総状花序は密に花をつけ、花被は橙黄色で約22 mmです。 [2, 3]

Madagascar南部に分布し、Ambovombe南方から西へLinta RiverのAndroka付近までの狭い海岸帯に記録されています。 [1, 2]

乾燥低木林の石灰岩露頭に生育します。 [2]

種小名 vaotsanda は、Madagascarでこの植物に用いられる現地の一般名に由来します。 [4]
