Overview

Aloe rauhii is a small aloe of southern Madagascar that offsets from the base to form large groups. Its grey-green leaves bear pale H-shaped spots, and the flowers are rose-scarlet. [1] [2]

Flowers are rose-scarlet. [2]

Distribution

WCVP records southern Madagascar. J.-B. Castillon & J.-P. Castillon (2010) report the species from Tsiombe to Ampanihy. [1] [3]

Habitat

Carter et al. (2011) report sandstone in dense bush, while J.-B. Castillon & J.-P. Castillon (2010) report small rocky hills or red sands. [2] [3]
